  Not that I think contemporary worship is bad; I don't. If that worship format brings you closer to God, then by all means, you should worship in that manner. But, it leaves me cold. I love the time honored traditions of Christian worship. I love to sing out of a hymnal, not a video screen. I love the sound of hyms sung by a choir, not the loud guitars and banging drums of a praise band singing repetitive praise songs. I love being taught the word of God in depth rather than being told how I should love my neighbor week after week after week. I love listening to a sermon that teaches how distructive it will be if I don't follow God and how forgiving He is if I do. I love the meditative and reverent quality of quiet worship. If you are desperately searching for church the way church used to be, you have finally found it. See you in there!
